The Masterclass focused on the Indian fashion industry and the mentor’s journey. The session provided the students with some truly inspiring stories. Liza Verma, a former Miss India runner-up who went on to work in the corporate world before discovering her passion for curating fashion shows. Her journey as a young girl was encouraging in terms of becoming a mother and a successful businesswoman. Her love of fashion is combined with her choreography of shows in various cities and countries all over the world. She shared her best moments which were empowering for the students. She encouraged them, “to try everything because if you don’t, you’ll never know what you’re good at”. Liza Verma provided practical advice that has been both motivating and beneficial required to step into the industry
